In 2010 Sneijder won a treble with Inter Milan but still lost the Ballon d’or to Messi because Messi scored many goals in that year.

In 2011 Cristiano Ronaldo scored many goals than Messi and he lost the Ballon d’or to Messi because Messi won the league.

In 2012 Cristiano Ronaldo won the league but still more again he lost the Ballon d’or to Messi because Messi scored many goals.

Well congratulations Messi. He maybe the deserved winner but something is surely wrong.

The Cannon Club

That was our poor manager’s face during our 8-2 slaughter v. Manchester United this past season. Our beyond faithful manager could not watch his team get systematically destroyed by the defending league champs. The tweets, banners, and messages calling for “Arsenal personified” to end his 15 year reign as manager. The results of the first five matches were not helping his [Wenger’s] cause. Arsenal earned three points in five matches, earning just 20% of the possible points, which included a loss to a relegated squad. Arsenal got off to a brilliant start with a 2.8 goals allowed per game average, not helping by the United fixture. Also, we weren’t scoring, only 1.2 goals per game against squads like Blackburn, Swansea, and Liverpool.

So how much better is this year’s squad, even without the likes of ex-captain Robin Van Persie, who was directly involved in 53% of our…

From the very beginning, the girl’s family objected strongly on her dating this guy, saying that it has got to do with family background, & that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him.Due to family’s pressure, the couple quarrelled very often. Though the girl loved the guy deeply, she always asked him: “How deep is your love for me?” As the guy is not good with his words, this often caused the girl to be very upset. With that & the family’s pressure, the girl often vents her anger on him. As for him, he only endured it in silence.

After a couple of years, the guy finally graduated & decided to further his studies overseas. Before leaving, he proposed to the girl: “I’m not very good with words. But all I know is that I love you. If you allow me, I will take care of you for the rest of my life. As for your family, I’ll try my best to talk them round. Will you marry me?” The girl agreed, & with the guy’s determination, the family finally gave in & agreed to let them get married. So before he left, they got engaged. The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas, continuing his studies. They sent their love through emails & phone calls. Though it was hard, but both never thought of giving up.

One day, while the girl was on her way to work, she was knocked down by a car that lost control. when she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed. She realized that she was badly injured. Seeing her mum crying, she wanted to comfort her. But she realized that all that could come out of her mouth was just a sigh. she had lost her voice….

The doctor says that the impact on her brain has caused her to lose her voice. Listening to her parents’ comfort, but with nothing coming out from her, she broke down. During the stay in hospital, besides silence cry,..it’s still just silence cry that accompanied her.

Upon reaching home, everything seems to be the same. Except for the ringing tone of the phone. Which pierced into her heart everytime it rang.

She does not wish to let the guy know & not wanting to be a burden to him, she wrote a letter to him saying that she does not wish to wait any longer.

With that, she sent the ring back to him. In return, the guy sent millions & millions of reply, countless of phonecalls,.. all the girl could do, besides crying, is still crying…. The parents decided to move away, hoping that she could eventually forget everything & be happy.

With a new environment, the girl learns sign language & started a new life. Telling herself everyday that she must forget the guy. One day, her friend came & told her that he’s back. She asked her friend not to let him know what happened to her. Since then, there wasn’t anymore news of him.

A year has passed & her friend came with an envelope, containing a invitation card for the guy’s wedding. The girl was shattered. When she open the letter, she saw her name in it instead. When she was about to ask her friend what’s going on, she saw the guy standing in front of her.

He used sign language to tell her “I’ve spent a year to learn sign language. Just to let you know that I’ve not forgotten our promise. Let me have the chance to be your voice. I Love You.” With that, he slipped the ring back into her finger. The girl finally smiled.

I wish to write something else very soon. Take Care till then.

End of the bad phase..

Err.. I know I’m writing after many days but actually I planned to write after the last day of trasnfer season. So, somehow I managed to write something and I think our bad phase which always comes after January came to an end after the new signings and low performance in the starting 3 games of the league.

Manchester United v/s Arsenal:– Oh yeah sorry to bring this thing back coz yeah we all hate this game. But, Manchester United hav lost 8-2 twice. Let me tell you, they took revenge from us after 59 years when we had defeated them 8-2 and they even lost in pre season friendly this year . Fans started criticizing Arsenal and Arsene Wenger which was too bad. There were moaners who said crap about the club. But, just imagine the 3000 fans who went at Old Trafford sang for 20 mins after the full time whistle. We were soo upset but just imagine the fans who were at Old Trafford they cheered the Gunners after the full time and imagine what Arsene Wenger must be going through. It’s just football and we played bad that day with players suspended and injured we were not upto mark. Well, it’s not an excuse but still if we had 3-4 players among the long list in the squad score would hav been different it was just not our day and Manchester United played well and deserved it. But the Arsenal fans were OUTSTANDING.

Transfers:- After 8-2 loss againt Manchester United, we, Arsenal fans expected a lot from Arsene Wenger but he already had a list prepared before the defeat against Manchester United but most of the people think he signed player coz we lost badly. It’s wrong, coz it takes time to make a list of players which the club has to sign. And Arsene Wenger had planned everything. 5 signings happened in 50 hours where we got experienced players in low rates. Take a bow Arsene Wenger. We did sign some great players which included Per Mertesacker,Andre Santos,Park Chu-Young,Mikel Arteta,Yossi Benayoun.

-Per Mertesacker:- A talented experienced German Centre-Back with age of 26 and height 6’6. With 75 caps for German International Football Team and with just 1 red card in his carrer Arsenal Football Club managed to get him for 8million. He will be wearing #4 and will most probably make his debut for Arsenal against Swansea next week. He will definitely play an important part in defence for the club.He said  ‘I had a great time at Werder, and I owe a lot  to the club.’The move to London is a wish come true, to take another step in my career. The English Premier League has for me always represented an interesting challenge.’

-Andre Santos:- Known as new Roberto Carlos, Brazlian Left-Back with great pace and great finishing ability Arsenal got him for 6.2 million. Experienced player at the age of 28 he has shown his ability to prove himself at Arsenal. A top quality player with great physical strength. He managed to be in the Brazilian team who won Confiderations Cup in 2009. Great signing in my opinion. Underated player with immense talent. He said ” “I arrive here with one aim – being a champion. I will wear Arsenal’s shirt and give my utmost to it. I will do everything for the Club.” With Per Mertesacker and other signings he will probably make debut for Arsenal against Swansea and will be wearing #11 which our captain Robin Van Persie wore.

-Yossi Benayoun:- It was a shock Loan-Signing by Arsenal when Yossi Benayoun was signed for a season loan. He has premiere league experience as he had played for 3 years at Anfield. He was injured when he came to Chelsea. Can expect to make an impact from him as he has great experience. He will be wearing #30 and most probably will make debut against Swansea with Per Mertesacker, Andre Santos and other signings.

-Park Chu-Young:- I can say one of the best signings we hav made this season. Well, most people won’t agree with me coz probably they won’t be having much knwledge abt this South Korea’s Captain. He is the captain of South Korea and is basically known as “David Beckham Of  South Korea” . Yesterday on 2nd September in World Cup Qualifiers he scored hattrick for South Korea. He’s a talented striker and a leader also as he is captain of his country who could pace up our attack. He is known as “JU” and he will be wearing #9 which Eduardo Da Silva wore before. He will be making his debut against Swansea most probably. In his interview he said “I am very hounoured and I feel very happy to be at Arsenal,”  “They are a team that I dreamed about when I was young. I am very proud to be an Arsenal player”

-Mikel Arteta:- Perfect replacement for Cesc fabregas? Came ot from Barcelona-B team and having 8 years of premiere league experience after playing for Everton the 29 year old signed for Arsenal at the last moment of the tranfer deadline day. He was an important player for Everton but he signed for Arsenal for a new challenge. His free kick are too good just what Arsenal needed. He can pace up the midfield and could be vital for strikers. Probably he gonna make his debut against Swansea with Per Mertesacker,Andre Santos,Park Chu-Young and Yossi Benayoun. He will be wearing #8. In his interview he said “It is a big opportunity for me and my family and I think it is the right time for me to take it,” he told Everton’s official website. “It is a big challenge, a different challenge, fresh for me and I want to see myself on the biggest stage, the Champions League.“I am 29 years old so I haven’t got much time left to take a chance like this one. I think I have done my best for Everton.”

Comparing with last year’s Liverpool:- Most of the fans have compared Arsenal with Liverpool’s last year’s form. Stating that the Gunners would fail to make into the top 4 this season due to the departure of some players. I agree we didn’t played well in the 1st 3 games of premiere league but criticizing for it is not acceptable as there are 35 more games to go. Looking at the schedule we had to play 5 games in 15 days including the 2 games of Champions League Qualifiers against Udinese which were very important for Arsenal. Last year Liverpool played with their key players and still they were in a bad form. We played bad because we didn’t had our main players due to injuries and suspensions. It’s disgrace that people compare Arsenal with last year’s Liverpool.

These were the signings which were made in 50 hours by Arsene Wenger. The fans criticized him for not spending money but the fact was the AFC officials restricted him from spending money. I’m sure the signings will boost the defence, the midfield and the attack. And like every year we suffer a bad phase after January but this time I guess we suffered at the start of the season with injuries and suspensions.

Thanks all for reading. Your views, opinions are hugely welcomed and your comments are appreciated.

“Once A Gunner,Always A Gunner.

Ole-Ole Arsenal”

Hello all,

Yesterday after my first blogpost I got great response from my fellow gooners and goonerettes as I saw many people visiting my blogg and everything seemed to be POSITIVE which made my day.

So,within 24 hours I’m again trying to write with support of you all.

Today, Arsenal play Udinese in the Champions League play-offs. As Arsenal came at the 4th place we had to play this. We are 1-0 leading against them as we won at Emirates.

Theo Walcott scored the only goal for us.

Theo Walcott scores against Udinese at Emirates

But today we go to Udinese at their home. We know it’s tough. After the departure of Cesc Fabregas,Gael Clichy,Emannuel Eboue and now Samir Nasri people think we will not be able to win todays game.

Well, in my opinion we can win. I know most of you won’t agree because we know many of our players are injured wich includes Jack Wilshere,Laurent Koscielny,Abou Diaby,Tomas Rosicky,Kieran Gibbs and more.

Still we hav our players who are experienced and who has played Champions League earlier too. And you all shouldn’t forget our new signings too.

Ryo Miyaichi,Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain,Gervinho,Carl Jenkinson. It’s obvious we hav signed them for some reason and they will prove themselves also because they are talented and highly rated though they hav less experience they can make a huge impact.

It’s a tough exam for Arsenal today and also for ARSENE WENGER but I’m sure he must hav decided and planned something for todays game.

He just needs support from us and I guess we should support. In good phase we can’t stop being optimistic but in bad phase we can’t stop being pessimist. It surely doesn’t makes any sense.

Tough exam ahead but we surely gonna pass it.

I would like to know that how many of us support the club today. Because there is lot of criticizm against Arsenal and ARSENE WENGER. Your votes and opinions will be appreciated.

Cheers all.

“Once a Gunner, Always a Gunner”.
